- Location: Highway 99 in Merced on the R & V street exit. Near to the new University of California at Merced. Most major restaurant chains, fast food and independent restaurants are located within a few minutes' drive. Two major gas stations, Motel Six and the Vagabond are on the same exit.
- A major Asian restaurant located next to the hotel is scheduled to open in the fall of 2005 with a large shared sign visible from Hwy 99.
- Guest rooms: 95 large units, comprising four buildings with two-storey configuration. All rooms have been redone within the past six months: all new beds throughout, new carpet, drapes, paint, and upgraded furniture. Telephones, Internet, cable, color televisions are in all rooms and some refrigerators and microwaves throughout the hotel. Five rooms have in-room spas. All rooms have new GE/Amana air conditioners.
- Amenities: Large conference room, swimming pool, full on site laundry.
- Extras: All units face into the swimming pool/courtyard area with mature landscaping and tour bus parking. Two bedroom, one bath living quarters with large kitchen.
- Description: New stucco surfaces throughout. Railings and stairways have been redone. Large covered entrance to lobby and registration area. Large, expanded lobby and breakfast room.
- Oportunity: The hotel was approved by Choice Hotels as a Quality Inn in July of 2005. The franchise became operational on September 1, 2005 after extensive renovations and improvements had been completed.
- Asking Price: $4,400,000.
- Bonus: A new Quality Inn Highway Sign was approved by the City and will be installed in November, 2005. This sign has excellent North and South visibility on Highway 99.
